Miscellaneous Coding Projects

Evewy Wowd (Twitter Bot)

twending (large).png

A Twitter bot I made as a side project starting Spring 2020. The bot would regularly tweet out a random word from the English language, replacing "l” and “r” consonants with “w” and appending a Unicode emoji. Programmed primarily in JavaScript with JSON data files. You can view the bot account here and read its code here.

Birch Aquarium Exhibit Demo

A temporary exhibit hosted at the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla, California. Created in 2018 with the help of UCSD professors, aquarium directors, marine science researchers, and other UCSD students to showcase the impact of deep-sea bubbles on marine life and ecosystems. Interactive features coded in Python, running on a network of Arduinos and Raspberry Pi’s.

Masseduction (Music Video)

2017. Made as part of an experimental media class. Uses 15 monitors and 15 Raspberry Pi’s connected in a cluster to synchronize animations. Programmed entirely in Python, no image or video files used.
