About Me
Jacob Ugalde is an artist, programmer, musician, writer, editor, and a jack-of-all-trades kind of type.
My name is Jacob, and I’m a programmer of visual arts and interactive media. I am a graduate of UC San Diego, where I majored in interdisciplinary computing in the arts and minored in computer science. When I’m not working, you can usually find me making music or organizing my hundreds of Spotify playlists.
Through my programming and design experience, I have gained an interest in conceiving and implementing complex and unique ideas that typically find themselves materialized as new or experimental types of media; so far, this has ranged from immersive technical experiences to web applications, music production, music videos, and museum exhibits. My dream is to work in a place where I can keep implementing and perfecting new and existing technology in ways that have never been implemented before — and to find how else we as humans can experience the world.
